When the Heart N’ Soul was available for purchase, Green Valley residents Dee Yarnall Brooks and Jeff Brooks found the perfect opportunity and location for them and son Mike to share their passion for fine food.  Even as a toddler, Mike exhibited a curiosity and eagerness for food and cooking, always dreaming of owning his own restaurant.  Having been raised on the ranch across the road from rural Heart N’ Soul, with great memories of their massive variety of ice cream shakes, taking over this small-town establishment was all the more poignant.
Luscious food is the Heart ‘N Soul’s specialty, although their exceptional service and affordable prices will certainly amplify your positive dining experience.  Savory comfort foods such as Stroganoff, Meatloaf, Lasagna that patrons swear by, custom huge Angus Burgers with platters of crispy waffle fries or Garlic Smashed Potatoes, and traditional American favorites like New England Bacon Clam Chowder, and melt-in-your-mouth creamy Mac N’ Cheese provide a glimpse into the Heart ‘N Soul’s unforgettable fare.  Breakfasts similarly feature delicious platters of home-cooked delights.
