“You Have Cancer”
Cancer is scary and Jennifer Kennedy knows that all to well, as a two time breast cancer survivor. In 1997 and again in 2015, she heard the words “You Have Cancer”.
Twice, she was numb, frightened, scared for her life and the future of her daughter. Jennifer’s life was turned upside down- How was she going to afford her care? How would she feel after surgery? How could she learn everything she needed to know? Jennifer spent countless hours researching local and national resources, finding products that made the symptoms of cancer easier and organizing her treatment plan. She turned her past pain into a passion. Footprints in Pink is dedicated to women who have been newly diagnosed with breast cancer.
