Celebrity Sightings
More ever-elusive celebrities have been sighted here in the Santa Clarita Valley! Though stars prove to be rare and subtle, locals have managed to track and even capture up-close-and-personal moments with these fantastic entertainers. Those special residents who spotted this month’s stars want to share their excitement with everyone.
First on our list is star athlete Corey Brewer of the Houston Rockets, posing by local resident Taylor Kellstrom. Born in Portland, Tennessee and drafted in 2007 to the NBA, Shooting Guard Corey Brewer is the fourth recorded in NBA history to have more than 50 points and six steals in the same game. Closing in on the offseason, Brewer was met by Kellstrom, who looks very excited in this photo. After a restful vacation and thorough training, fans are hoping to see Brewer in peak form for the coming games in his career.
Local resident and activist Andrew Taban, who previously ran for the William S. Hart Union High School District Board, snapped a photo with presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Taban was able to meet Clinton during a photo opportunity after a rally before the primary election in June. Hillary Clinton has served as secretary of state, senator from New York, first lady of the United States, first lady of Arkansas, a practicing lawyer and law professor, activist and volunteer. In 2000, Hillary was elected to the U.S. Senate.
Stay tuned for more celebrity sightings, as there are many more to report! You never know which star you may run into. And don’t be shy – snap a photo with your favorite celebrity and be sure to share your brush with fame with us. Email your submissions to contest@santaclaritamagazine.com!
