RoMa Jewelers Celebrates 25 Years – Three generations of stunning quality and unparalleled customer service
After 25 years of helping this community celebrate milestones with stunning quality jewelry and customer service that feels like family, Ro Ma Jewelers is celebrating a milestone of their own.
“We are honored and thrilled to be celebrating 25 years in business in the Santa Clarita Valley,” said Ramzi Azar, co-owner of Ro Ma Jewelers. “This community has always supported us. If we didn’t have such great customers, we wouldn’t have lasted 25 wonderful years.”
Originally from Lebanon, Nada and Joseph Azar dreamed of opening a jewelry store in Los Angeles. In 1989, they packed their bags and made their dream a reality, bringing 20 years of experience in the jewelry manufacturing and diamond business to their first storefront on Lyons Avenue in 1991. A small but mighty jeweler, Ro Ma set out to bring superior quality, design and service to their thriving neighborhood.
Accomplishing their goal, the Azars eventually moved to a larger location on beautiful Town Center Drive, and the new space allowed them to provide an extensive range of products – from unique pieces that couldn’t be found anywhere else in Santa Clarita to brand new lines – all with the same superior quality their customers first enjoyed on Lyons Avenue.
Today, Nada and Joseph have passed the torch to their sons, George and Ramzi, who carry their parents’ legacy with the same commitment to quality and community support. Through its years of success, the store has expanded to better meet their customers’ every need. When looking for a one-of-a-kind piece, Ro Ma Jewelers is a time-honored community favorite for custom designed jewelry. The team at Ro Ma will help you design your own dream jewelry just as they made their dreams a reality back in 1991. As diamond wholesalers and jewelry manufacturers, they also can ensure their prices remain the most competitive in the Santa Clarita Valley. In addition to jewelry, Ro Ma also carries a number of high-end Swiss watch lines ranging from Tag Heuer to Daniel Wellington, as well as a vast gift selection featuring Daum, Michael Aram and Pandora.
Throughout the years, Ro Ma’s mission has remained the same: to provide excellent customer service alongside their quality jewelry. But the Azars have taken their commitment a step further by supporting countless community organizations, non-profit fundraising events and even events for customers in need.
“We’ve been involved with this community since the beginning. Over the years, we’ve helped the community through outreach, as well as clients who have smaller events,” Ramzi said. “We have a history with our customers, and we want to support them the way they support us. We always support our family no matter what, and the valley is part of our family.”
Last year, Ro Ma supported the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s flagship event, Light the Night, as a leading sponsor, and Ramzi served as the event’s 2015 Corporate Chair. Ro Ma also has supported Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley on numerous occasions through events such as The Wine Affair and the annual Fashion Show, in which Ramzi volunteered as a model, raising money for the event. Ro Ma also sponsored many girls for the Soroptimist Dream It Be It program, which supports young girls as they reach for their dreams.
“There are so many wonderful organizations. It’s very telling of the nature of Santa Clarita residents. They’re very giving, charitable people, and they like to support us because we’re a family business that also supports the community. It’s a loyal group of people, and we want to be loyal to this valley, as well. It’s the right thing to do.”
