Touch-A-Truck 2016

 The extreme desert heat didn’t stop Santa Clarita families for coming out by the carloads on Saturday, June 19 for the annual Touch-A-Truck event benefitting our SCV Senior Center.  Each year, the community gathers to enjoy a day of first responders vehicles, cool cars, fun games, bounce houses, snow cones and more at Central Park in Saugus.  And though temperatures reached up to 109 degrees, families still came out to show their support.  This year the event fell on Fathers day weekend and it was free for all dads, grandpas and father figures.
Some of the highlights included: The Hazmat truck, the snow cone booth and the giant bounce houses.  There was even a DeLorean, which happens to be the style car used in the popular 1985 movie Back to the Future.  All proceeds benefit the SCV Senior Center.
