Closet on Main
Closet on Main is not only Newhall’s premier resale store but a place to support families in programs run by Single Mothers Outreach. August is traditionally “back to school” month and we help families who need school clothing by running a “Shop The Closet” once a month where families in our programs can shop for free.
We have received many fantastic donations so in August we are hosting a “Back To School” month with fantastic savings on children’s wear all month, why not check out the Closet for your family?
At the same time you’re shopping for your family, you, too, can pick up some stylish items! In the last month we have received a generous donation of high end fashionable beach wear thanks to AMS Fulfillment. Our new beachwear and shoe collection starts at just $10 for women’s t shirts and $25 for canvass shoes. We have also received a fantastic collection of high end nail varnish and brand new men’s and ladies’ shoes.
Closest on Main relies on volunteers to run our store and our friendly team will welcome you as you walk through the door. We are always looking for new volunteers who want to learn new skills or give back to their community. The Closet is cleaned daily, it’s well-lit, and clothes are steamed, hung neatly, and sorted by color and size. Donations that are torn, stained or otherwise damaged are re-donated to a clothing recycler. There are also separate rooms displaying Men’s clothes and Ladies’ evening wear.
If you can volunteer, then please contact us on 661-288-0100.
We are also now on Instagram – you can follow us on Instagram @closetonmain to check out our latest fashions, news and sales!
Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Closet on Main is a classy boutique located in trendy downtown Newhall that sells new and gently used upscale clothing. There are items for every budget with customer service you find at high end boutiques.
All sales proceeds go to supporting Single Mothers Outreach and the families we serve. SMO families receive free clothing at monthly private events and by volunteering at Closet on Main.
