A Gentle Thanksgiving
I know that summer is just ending, school is starting, and the holidays seem far, far away, but actually time moves so fast, the holidays are just around the corner. Before you start making plans, we want to make sure you know about The Gentle Barn Thanksgiving! We do something very unique and one of a kind right here in Santa Clarita!
Each year we have people come from all over the world to cuddle our turkeys and feed them pie. Then we serve a delicious, gourmet, plant-based feast. After dinner, guests participate in a Native American drum circle and bonfire where a Chief tells stories and we play drums around the fire. It is a night of community, dining, connecting to animals and nature, and pure fun! And you can reserve a table and bring your whole family.
Do something different this year! Tickets and more information are available on our website, www.gentlebarn.org
The Gentle Barn is home to hundreds of animals rescued from abuse and neglect, and host to school field trips, private tours, and children at risk, from the inner city, or with special needs. The Gentle Barn is open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for guests to hug the cows, feed the horses, give the pigs tummy rubs, cuddle the turkeys, and so much more.
