Passion
What drives you? I can rewind years back as a college graduate when I was bombarded with questions from family and friends as to “what is your goal?” Have you discovered your passion?” Simply put, I enjoyed helping others. For all those recent graduates out there; Research. Intern. Ask lots of questions. And then find out what your heart desires…what is your passion?
As for others, are you a “clock-watcher”? Does your week drag on while you anticipate your upcoming pseudo-eventful weekend? How does that feel? Hmmm, not fun. I personally seek the week full of smiles and high- fives – not a bad gig. This is not a prank. Here at Thinking Tree, we strive on a fun learning environment, positive- reinforcement along with passionate instructors. Some may say, “kudos”, “two-thumbs up”, right? But guess what? It does not, ‘just happen’. It takes work, dedication, patience, and compassion for others. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out the formula once you found the right potion.
Thankfully, I can admit that I am no longer a “clock-watcher”. Again, I knew my passion was helping others- I found my calling. My heart smiles being part of a team that truly cares for children /students to achieve their academic goals. Every student learns at a different pace. If a student feels that learning can be fun, it can happen. Motivate, and make it happen.
Can you remember your favorite teacher in elementary or middle school? What made this individual extra special? Creative learning? In a single day, I may receive between 20 to 25 “high-fives” or “fist-bumps”. Not bad for a day at the office. If you truly have a passion for what you believe in, there is no acting experience required. Besides, these children are too perceptive- they can spot a con artist!
Here at Thinking Tree, we continually strive for our students to become strong individual learners with high self-esteem. Our compassionate teamwork together to ensure each student is a success. If you have a passion for what you believe in – there is no work required. #Passion
