Celebrity Sightings – October 2016
With Halloween around the corner, it’s the season for screams … of admiration! Check out this month’s celebrity sightings.
Leading our star sightings for October is Elizabeth Teagle standing next to actor, producer and former small forward for the Los Angeles Lakers. Rick Fox was born in Toronto and moved to the Bahamas with his parents, completing his education there as well as pursuing his lifelong love for basketball and acting. After college, he went on to become the 24th overall draft pick in the NBA for the Boston Celtics and later signed on to the LA Lakers, partly due to the California location and his continued interests in acting.
Although no longer playing on the court, Mr. Fox is still very active in the acting world, lending his talents to the incredibly well received Shameless, guest starring on Disney’s K.C. Undercover and recently completing production on his latest role as Robert in A Curry on an American Plate. Encountered by Teagle after a Laker game, with her support proudly displayed, Fox was excited to pose for this supportive fan.
Closing our star sightings is a team effort from the Fraval family of Santa Clarita, who met the illustrious A-List actress Gwyneth Paltrow in her hometown of Montecito! While on one of their outings to sample various vegan-friendly options, they encountered Ms. Paltrow at the COS BAR in Montecito on May 20. The starlet, well-known humanitarian and fellow vegan was at the eatery serving appetizers, talking with diners and promoting her new skincare line, Goop by Juice Beauty. Their young son Matthew can be seen enjoying the decadent hors d’œuvres prepared by Gwyneth Paltrow herself! It was truly an experience enjoyed by few and a photo opportunity many star hunters hope for.
Keep up the good hunt Santa Clarita. Stay tuned for more celebrity sightings, as there are many more to report! You never know which star you may run into. And don’t be shy – snap a photo with your favorite celebrity and be sure to share your brush with fame with us.
