“We just did what everyone else was doing really, and helped those people who have a lot more going on than we do,” said Dr. Vanessa just two short months ago during the traumatic evacuations of Sand Fire residents and their pets.
For the past nine years, Dr. Vanessa Vandersande has worked tirelessly for days, hours and months to create the kind of animal practice she had always imagined.  One that is seen as an extended family more than a traditional clinic.

“I absolutely love Copper Hill Vet. They are seriously the best in SCV. Dr. Vanessa is so caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. She listens, explains, reassures. Dr. Clark is awesome as well. This clinic is small but very nice and very clean. The techs are super sweet and helpful.  Today, my husband and dog were in a minor car accident. We already had an appointment (they were on their way when they were hit). We called the office to let them know what happened and we were going to be late. The receptionist let the techs and Dr. Vanessa be aware. When we came in the techs were very apologetic and concerned.
