Evening Under the Stars Brings Tears and Hope
Community leaders, volunteers and non-profit supporters gathered for the Michael Hoefflin Foundation’s 23rd Evening Under the Stars, the organization’s premier fundraising event of the year, held on Saturday, September 17 at Mann Biomedical Park. A beloved annual event, the fundraiser featured a silent auction, dinner and musical entertainment the Kelly Rae Band. Each year, organizers compose a video message from some of the non-profit’s clients, which brings most of the crowd to tears and leaves guests with a deeper understanding of the foundation’s mission and programs.
The Michael Hoefflin Foundation is a non-profit organization that assists children diagnosed with cancer and their families. For more than 20 years, the foundation has provided individualized, caring support that addresses the various ways in which life is disrupted for families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis. The aim of the Michael Hoefflin Foundation is to ensure families have what they need so that their child can concentrate on getting well.
