Focus on What You Can Control
This very powerful message was shared with me recently and it has consumed my thought process. Not only is it key in my personal life, but equally as important in my small business endeavors. I can absolutely control how I choose to be a valuable part of this community.
As the owner of Via Tucci I have been blessed to not only run a wonderfully enjoyable small business, but I have also been allowed into the world of many, many amazing entrepreneurial women right here in the Santa Clarita Valley! As the holiday season is upon us and we are all frantically trying to keep up with the everyday demands of family, friends and careers, I encourage all of you to work smart by supporting each other! I am convinced that my small taste of success is due, in part, to the support of these other talented and giving women. Obviously, if you need a holiday outfit or gift I’d love for you to choose Via Tucci. If you are interested in feeling fit and looking beautiful, please contact Rachel Cosgrove at Results Fitness. I’m equally as hopeful that if you need a luxurious faux fur blanket you’ll connect with Don’t Freak It’s Faux/Susie Mullenger. Or if you are craving the world’s best empanadas you’ll stop by Kokalitas and support Martha Aguilar or Sheryl Geraci to check out her cosmetics and skin care products. If you’re ever in doubt regarding where to shop locally – look no further, The Magazine of Santa Clarita lead by the most giving woman in SCV, Linda Hafizi (and Moe of course) is your source for everything local! This may sound like a huge shout out, but in reality these are just a handful of the amazing small business women in this community who are all actively striving to make Santa Clarita truly “awesome”. I believe in shopping locally, but not because it’s a catchy phrase – or simple stance. I support these women (and I encourage you to support them as well) because they are collectively supporting countless aspects of our very own community.
Happiest of holidays from Via Tucci! For more information, please call Laurie at 507-390-1999 and like the Via Tucci page on Facebook!
