Kid Expo Brings Smiles and Education

 Child and Family Center hosted its 13th annual Kid Expo, sponsored by Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, at Golden Valley High School on Sunday, October 16.  Thousands of kids and their parents had an amazing time visiting 85 different booths featuring sports, karate, dance and art, children’s  health, medical and dental services, gymnastics, books, tutors, and college services, just to name a few.  Highlights of the day included an animal show from Working Wildlife, a performance from featured performer Nathalia Palis, and a magic show from Brian Hoffman.  Disney brought its Imagination Playground and Optimized Entertainment provided all-day DJ fun.  All proceeds from the event benefit Child and Family Center, which provides mental health, behavioral and emotional services to children, teens and their families.
