In Memory of David Rickett, Esq.
It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of our friend and partner, David Rickett. David was not only a founding partner of The Reape-Rickett Law Firm, but a member of the Reape-Rickett family. A lifelong resident of the Santa Clarita Valley, David earned his Associate of Arts Degree from College of the Canyons before transferring to University of California Los Angeles where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and ultimately graduated from Glendale College of Law.
Over his 20 years of practice, David became a well-respected member of the legal community. In addition to practicing family law and being a Certified Family Law Specialist, David served as Minor’s Counsel, mediator and temporary judge for Los Angeles County.
David held himself, and all those surrounding him, to the highest ethical standards and was dedicated to his clients. He took special care to understand the unique and individual concerns of each and every client, embodying the core principles of The Reape-Rickett Law Firm mission statement. Those who were fortunate enough to know David, to work with and befriend him, were undoubtedly touched by his warmth, compassion, integrity and faith. As many can attest, his golf game was also pretty phenomenal. He will be remembered as a skilled attorney and fierce advocate for his clients and, most importantly, a dedicated father, husband and friend. We will miss David dearly and serve to honor his memory.
