Our Nation’s Capitol

by | Nov 1, 2016 | On The Town

In October, Santa Clarita Christian School students visited Washington, DC and the Arlington National Cemetery for their annual 8th grade trip. SCCS was honored with the privilege of placing a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Four students who wrote essays on service and sacrifice were selected to lay the wreath. The annual trip is designed for SCCS students to see some of the great monuments of our country and gain an understanding of what makes America great! The honor of placing the wreath was a humbling experience for the entire class and a memory they will hold special for a long time.
Santa Clarita Christian School is located at 27249 Luther Drive in Santa Clarita.  For more information, please call 661-252-7371 or visit www.sccs.com.
