Scrooge Sited in the SCV…At the Canyon Theatre Guild!
This holiday season, in a captivating adaptation of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol at the Canyon Theatre Guild, a modern Valencia family travels back in time with Grandpa. The wise, older gentleman tells his somewhat bratty and willful grandchildren a story about a crotchety old miser from 19th century London who is visited by three spirits, in hopes that the message will turn his beloved grandchildren in the right direction before it’s too late. As they journey back in time with him, he and transforms into… well you’ll just have to come see the play.
Filled with all the spirited characters from the original story and the joy of discovery, this production sparkles with good cheer and good humor. So, plan to spend some time with Scrooge, Dickens, Tiny Tim and a quartet of ghostly guardians. A Christmas Carol is fun for the family and a great way to get into the spirit of the holidays. The show’s fabulous director, Barry Agin, whom many have seen on the CTG stage, says, “No matter how many times you’ve seen the play, this rendering is sure to the leave the audience with a refreshingly renewed holiday spirit!”
