Festival of Trees Sees Another Successful Year!
There was something for everyone at the 14th Annual Boys & Girls Club’s Festival of Trees, as youngsters and adults alike delighted in the many activities offered at the kids’ corner such as candy necklace making, cookie decorating and more. The highlight of this family oriented fundraiser was the hall of trees featuring elaborately decorated holiday trees ranging in height from three to nine feet, some with themed vignettes and special gifts such as tickets to sports and entertainment events. Also featured at the Festival were charming table top trees and the popular Gingerbread Village, where crafty culinary artisans showcased their talents with amazing gingerbread creations. Throughout the weekend, the Festival stage was alive with local dancers, singers and entertainers.
