Lara’s Book Corner “Joanne Trattoria Cookbook” by Joe Germanotta, Foreword by Lady Gaga

 The delicious recipes featured in the Joanne Trattoria Cookbook, foreword by Lady Gaga, had me craving for more recipes.  With recipes including the Sicilian Ricotta Cheesecake, or the Lasagna de la Casa, everything featured in this book was unique and divine.  There were deserts, entrées, main courses and more.  The recipes were easy to follow, quick to make, and wonderful to eat.  Cooking these recipes with my family showed us a good time and a great meal.  Cooking together as a family brings everyone closer together.  As Lady Gaga’s family had expressed in this book, through memories portrayed as photos, you could feel the joy and connection between her and her family members, all enjoying their homemade recipes.  These recipes were originated in their family home and expanded to the Germanotta’s restaurant.  The food is southern Italian and shines the image of a warm family oriented place.  A close-knitted family’s restaurant cookbook ties us all together at home with delicious food and memorable photos.  Fans of food, cooking or Lady Gaga are sure to enjoy this cookbook.
