Meet Canyon Center’s New Grocery Store Island Pacific Seafood Market

The grocery options in Santa Clarita have greatly expanded with the opening of Island Pacific Seafood Market, a Filipino supermarket in the Canyon Center that’s aspiring to promote and expand awareness of Filipino and Asian food to a global palate.
Island Pacific offers fresh and affordable seafood, meat, produce and a wide variety of Asian grocery products that are not available in mainstream supermarkets. Its vast seafood selection is so amazing. They offer numerous kinds of fish that you rarely see in other Asian supermarkets.  One unique feature of the supermarket is that they offer free fish cleaning and fish frying in-house.  This not only saves time in preparation and cooking, but this satisfies the cravings of the customers for fried fish.  Island Pacific also offers free butcher services for any meat cut and slice to suit the many needs of its customers.
Aside from the supermarket, Island Pacific also showcases Philhouse – its hot deli/cafeteria-style fast food restaurant.  Philhouse offers more than 45 kinds of dishes, all prepared fresh daily and inspired by traditional Filipino home cooking.  It also offers traditional Filipino breakfast daily from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and special catering packages are also available. Philhouse Grill offers an assortment of grilled and roasted meat and seafood favorites such as crispy Lechon Belly/Cebu Lechon, chicken inasal, inihaw na liempo, Filipino barbeque, grilled pompano, stuffed grilled squid and many more.
The opening of Island Pacific Seafood Market is just the first phase of the company’s plans in Santa Clarita.
