Santa Clarita Christian High School Choir Sings at Disney’s Candlelight Ceremony

by | Dec 28, 2016 | On The Town

On December 4th, the Santa Clarita Christian High School Choir was one of seven schools chosen to sing, on that night, in Disney’s Candlelight Ceremony. “This was an amazing experience for our students who worked so hard to be there. I am so proud of these kids and their work ethic and the joy they received from the fruits of their labor” said Susi Johnson, SCCS Choir Director.  During the ceremony, Ginnifer Goodwin read the Luke account of Christ’s birth and was accompanied by choir and orchestra.
Disney receives dozens of applications from around the country. Candlelight has been a tradition at Disneyland and Disneyworld since 1958.
