Do you Believe It?
In every publication in which we appear, I look for my competitor’s ads. It’s important to stay price competitive. I examine the offers and call them to get more information. Even when the advertised price is lower than mine, when I call, I find many hidden charges.
We don’t make any false offers. We don’t have any. Also, a low price is a 100 percent giveaway that they don’t have worker’s compensation, an important part of life for any person who installs garage doors. It’s also the law: if you have any employees, they must be covered by worker’s comp. For example, for the cheap garage door companies, they charge you extra for perimeter weather seal, they charge you extra to haul away your door, etc., etc. They charge you no matter what.
A word to the wise, nothing is free. The companies that advertise the lowest prices won’t last if they don’t tack on fees for virtually everything else. The lowest advertised price is never the lowest price!
Check out a company’s review on Yelp, Angie’s List and the BBB. Check the contractor’s state license board (cslb.ca.gov) to make sure their license and insurance is up to snuff. If they hold up in all of these areas (as we do), you will probably have a professional, good experience.
Go with the experts, you’ll get it done right and save more in the long run. Check us out on Yelp, and Angie’s List. You’ll see consistently high reviews from each of them. Call us today!
