MJ’s Tap House Grill Brings Craft Brew and Food to Canyon Country

The new MJ’s Tap House Grill in Canyon Country has quickly garnered significant attention from foodies and casual eaters alike with its craft and premium brews, hearty eats and casual rustic atmosphere.  But don’t take our word for it.

“Everything had great flavor and for a group of very picky rib eaters theirs were fantastic. We also loved that they make their sauces in house. It makes a huge difference. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and casual,” said diner Brittany S.
For those who love breakfast most, MJ’s offers a creative menu, as well.
“Okay.  This place is officially awesome,” said diner Scott B., who opted for the breakfast special with eggs,, bacon and pancakes.  “The chocolate beer syrup: amazing.”
With a protein-forward, inventive menu, MJ’s Tap House Grill offers a variety of modern barbeque and features an extensive list of craft and premium beers.  The Tap House specialty is delicious char-grilled tri-tip.  This family marinate recipe was created and mastered over the past 15 years and is a real crowd pleaser.
Craft beer selections are detailed on reclaimed wood planks that hang underneath Edison-style light bulbs, creating an inviting yet contemporary gastropub feel.  The bar is a popular spot for most patrons, where they can enjoy “planks” of beer samplers or just have a cold one while enjoying some Tap House Fries: beer-battered fries and grilled chopped tri-tip with jalapeno Mornay sauce.
Other popular dishes include the Root Beer BBQ – 1/3 rack of baby back ribs, steamed then grilled, with root beer BBQ sauce and served with coleslaw – or the MJ’s Tri-tip Sandwich – buttered French roll, grilled Tri-Tip, avocado salad, garlic aioli and blue cheese with a bucket of beer-battered fries.  Three different flatbreads make delicious sharing and snacking, and the dessert menu is too tempting to pass up.  Choose from Cookies and Cream — two cookies with one scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice cream and whipped cream – or the French Toast Bread Pudding – Brioche bread, white and milk chocolate, Crème Anglaise, whipped cream and chocolate beer syrup.
