Santa Clarita Player to Play History Making Football Game Against The U-19 Ireland National Team
Jaelin Kinney Makes American Football Worldwide Ireland Team.
Jaelin Kinney, a Saugus HS senior, has made the American Football Worldwide (AFW) Elite International team. Jaelin, who is the current Varsity Sack Record holder for the Centurions, will be playing starting Defensive Line for the AFW Irish Team.
For four consecutive years, American Football Worldwide has toured their ELITE team of high school senior football players from all around the country to play an international exhibition games. Elite team members are selected from every region in the United States. This year, American Football Worldwide is taking 3 33-man roster teams to Italy, France and for the first time in history Ireland.
On April 1, 2017 Jaelin will fly to Dublin where he will practice for 5 days with his new teammates before he will play this history making game on April 8, 2017. In order to pay for their portion of the trip, the Kinney family has started a Go-Fund-Me campaign. www.gofundme.com/jaelinAFW
