Assemblyman Acosta Names Nancy Starczyk Woman of the Year
Nancy Lulejian Starczyk received a significant honor this past week when she was named Woman of the Year of the 38th Assembly District by Assemblyman Dante Acosta.
During the Legislative Women’s Caucus Women’s History Month in March, the Assembly paused from its business to bestow accolades on Nancy, celebrating and thanking her for her success in making her community better. Nancy currently serves as president of the 10,000-member Southland Regional Association of Realtors. She has been the recipient of several awards including: Realtor of the Year, 2015; President’s Award, 2013 and 2016; Member of the Year, 2001 and 2012; Distinguished Service Award, 2011; Zonta’s Carmen Sarro Woman of the Year Award, 2008; and Top 51 Most Influential in Santa Clarita Valley, 2016.
Nancy is a Director for the California Association of Realtors, SCV Chamber of Commerce, SCV Youth Project and SCV Economic Development Corporation. She is a Government Affairs Advocate and a member of the CLWA Blue Ribbon Committee, the SoCalGas Aliso Canyon Community Advisory Committee, the Porter Valley Country Club Business Alliance and a member of the Northern LA Counties Community Protection Coalition. Nancy also works as a full-time Realtor at Realty Executives Santa Clarita.
