Easter at College of the Canyons
For the past five years, it has been a privilege to celebrate Easter with the entire Santa Clarita Valley. We are excited to host our sixth city-wide Easter Service at College of the Canyons on Sunday, April 16. Easter 2017 is our opportunity to share and celebrate the greatest story ever told to mankind, that there is real hope found in the life of Christ who crushed death and is alive.
We invite everyone, from the curious to the convinced, to celebrate with us outdoors on the Cougar Field inside this great stadium. It is a non-denominational, family-style Easter Service with special parking for elderly and handicapped with shuttle service onto the field. Come join us for a free continental breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by a worship service at 9 a.m. Bring the whole family and guests to this free event.
We will partner with Fun Life Club, a program serving students with special needs and their families. We will be providing information and taking donations to help cover the cost of summer camp scholarships for these students. Our Easter services at College of the Canyons have helped create a special relationship with our community. It has also become a highlight for our church as we work together to open our doors to the Valley and share the truth of the gospel. We are thankful for the opportunity to plant the seed of hope.
On Saturday, April 15 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. we are also hosting an event at the stadium called “PrEaster.” This is an event for the whole family and is open to the public. There will be bounce houses, field games, a concert, an egg hunt and an outdoor movie. There is no charge for the actual event but there will be pizza available for purchase.
Visit our website at www.easteratcoc.org or call the church at 661-775-9502 for more information. We hope to see you there for both PrEaster and Easter.
