Celebrate a Memorable Meal in Foodie Heaven with Mom, or Just Anytime at All!
Want to do something memorable for Mother’s Day? Welcome to foodie heaven, the Heart N Soul Coffee House and Home Cookin’ Café. It’s off the beaten path, and something of a cult classic. What’s the latest? Starting in May, Heart N Soul will offer Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.! A great destination for a special outing with mom, or just anytime for fun. Heart N Soul provides scenery, fresh air, a home-town atmosphere, a mellow vibe, and savory comfort food that focuses on flavor.
Drive north on San Francisquito Canyon from where McBean ends at Copper Hill. The scenery shifts dramatically as the curvy road veers upward; city life quickly turns to rolling landscape with beautiful mountain vistas. In 15-minutes you arrive at a truly extraordinary dining destination.
Heart N Soul offers a cozy bistro and a spacious (and dog-friendly) dining courtyard, (shady-cool by day, and toasty-warm by night), they easily accommodate large family tables, but also have romantic tables for two, blue sunny skies by day, and diamonds in the sky by night. Ringed by the Sierra Pelona Ridge mountains, enjoy the genial ambiance while the delicious aroma tantalizes you, a hint of what’s soon to be served: plentiful platters of savory culinary delights created by inspired fine-dining chefs, combining elements of different culinary traditions.
This out-of-the-way eclectic eatery is not easy to categorize! Enjoy great service and mouth-watering contemporaneous dishes created daily to complement the café’s home-cooked classics. Stroganoff, meat loaf, homemade fish & chips, fish and specialty tacos, lasagna, creamy mac n cheese, garlic smashed potatoes, nutty raspberry coleslaw, crisp waffle fries, fresh salads and homemade soups, and so much more. Save room for dessert! Over 100 flavors of enormous thick shakes, sundaes, cheesecakes, and unusual crispy on-the-outside, chewy on-the-inside, chocolaty pecan-filled one-of-a-kind fresh-baked “Dirty Hand Cookies!” Try one with a creamy cappuccino, a fresh espresso, or a big glass of cold milk.
