Happy Pets Veterinary Center Open House & Pet Fair
Happy Pets Veterinary Center in Valencia celebrated its 10th anniversary of caring for Santa Clarita Valley pets by hosting an open house and pet fair on Sunday afternoon, April 2. More than 100 local pet parents and pet-lovers joined the celebration, many accompanied by four-legged family members. Spread over parking areas and storefronts adjacent to the center, the kid-friendly festival featured a magician, balloon animals, face-painting, a petting zoo, free pet-related goodies, and Santa Clarita vendors including 25Score, Castaic Canine Camp, Ponyland, Doggy Duty US and Pet Me Happy Treats. Happy Pets co-owners Dr. Evelyn Vega DVM and John Douglas and their staff of more than a dozen veterinarians, techs and assistants also conducted clinic tours. “We couldn’t have made it for 10 years without the team we have, or without a community like Santa Clarita,” Douglas said. “Support from our clients and neighbors motivates us, and sends a message to our staff that when you give to the community, the community gives back. That fires us up and makes us look forward to 10 more years.”
