Shopping for a Cause – Assistance League Resale Shop
The benefits of shopping at Assistance League Resale are as plenty and diverse as the items on the shelves. Not only are shoppers being kind to the environment by repurposing items, but they save money, find treasures and, most importantly, support Santa Clarita. Located in Newhall since 1999, this special shop has been helping Santa Clarita Valley families meet their needs at affordable prices for more than 27 years.
Assistance League Resale is staffed entirely by member volunteers, and 100 percent of their proceeds are funneled directly back into Assistance League’s valuable programs, which serve local residents. Dedicated to returning as much as they possibly can to the Santa Clarita community, the shop has seen steady growth in revenue throughout the years, thanks to their loyal customers and generous donors.
Assistance League Resale offers gently used clothes, shoes, books, collectables, household items, toys, furniture and more. If you have any unsold, unused or unwanted items, don’t hesitate to donate. Your donation is tax deductible and helps local school children in need through the Operation School Bell® program, which provides thousands of children with new school clothes and shoes.
Assistance League Resale is open: Monday and Wednesday from 1p.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Stop in and find your treasures today!
