Castaic Lake Water Agency

 The perfect Sunday morning at Central Park on Bouquet Canyon began with a visit to the Castaic Water Fest! Why? Summer is coming! Castaic Water was there with over twenty vendors helping our valley conserve our resources by educating kids and adults alike on how to stay cool and do it wisely.
As soon as you walk past the balloon arch into the vendor area you will be greeted by the most serious but adorably majestic Horned Owl brought by the Placerita Nature Center along with a few snakes and a tarantula! The kids all loved hanging out and talking with the Docent about the animals.
A free shuttle provided by the Valencia Trolley took us to the nine-acre gardens at the Castaic Water Agency. The gardens are a hidden treasure here in the SCV! If you have never been, please take a nice snack, a sketchbook and some tunes and you have the perfect day!
