Operation Gratitude – Santa Clarita Businesses Support Local Veterans, Active Duty and First Responders

May 23rd marked the date of the Charity Wine Tasting Event benefitting Operation Gratitude, an event that began with a group of business executives in the Santa Clarita area, who wanted to network and bring together other business executives for a good cause. The event in May benefitted Operation Gratitude, a non-profit that sends care packages overseas to deployed troops and first responders, as well as care packages to our veterans and caretakers at home. The Santa Clarita Valley Business Marketing Group raised over $4,000 for Operation Gratitude for this event, and had donations of silent auction and opportunity drawing items from over 100 local businesses. “All in all, it was a success. We just placed smiles on hundreds of active-duty soldiers overseas, and it’s a privilege and an honor to pay our respects this way.” Stated Maggie-Mae Laufman on the success of the event.
