HandsOn Santa Clarita’s 9/11 Day of Remembrance 2017

 HandsOn Santa Clarita is Santa Clarita’s local volunteer center. They hosted their 5th Annual 9/11 Day of Remembrance on September 9 at the William S. Hart Park in honor of the 9/11 attacks and as a rally for the 9/11 Day of Service. Volunteers checked in and picked up their 9/11 T-shirt. Stay Green was the presenting sponsor for this event. A color guard lead the pledge of allegiance followed by a moment of silence and then the sound of sirens. Seema Shah, Wanda Perry, Amanda Etcheverry and Cameron Smyth all spoke at the event. Ed Masterson was the master of ceremonies. The commitee of people who put together this day of rememberance, donated their time to make this amazing event happen.
