Family Promise’s Box City
Family Promise of the Santa Clarita Valley has put on another Box City Event. This event raises awareness of how the homeless population is growing and the families affected by this have to endure. The proceeds raised goes to support the Family Promise of SCV. Participants set a goal to raise $100 in pledges and contributions and slept overnight in a cardboard box “home” as a resident of Box City. During the course of the event there was live entertainment, activities, and free food for participants.
