Thanks for Giving!
As we enter the Thanksgiving season, here at Single Mothers Outreach we are unbelievably thankful for all the generous donors who support our mission. The commitment of our donors to give above and beyond changes lives and empowers single parents to become self-sustaining. Every day, a single mom with her children walk through our doors needing resources to help her family (in many cases, in desperate need), and we are able to help and support.
Without the support of our faithful national and local donors, we would not be able to provide the programs and services our members greatly benefit from. The need in this community is great, but the generosity is greater. The giving hearts in this community are changing lives daily and we are so thankful.
We extend our deepest gratitude and heartfelt ‘thank you’ to three of our major donors who stand by our mission to help single moms and their children:
The Dorothy and Chester Smith Foundation
Princess Cruises
Ken and Betty-Lou Wiseman
The support of donors has made an incredible impact in the lives our members, each has gone above and beyond to support this organization and we are grateful to have such beautiful souls stand by us and our mission.
“Thank you for all that SMO has done for me over the past several years, you helped me raise a very successful, intelligent and wonderful young man. I could not have made it without you,” said an SMO member.
Every donor is a part of helping our SMO members rise above adversity and ultimately succeed as a self-sustaining parent. It is wonderful and powerful. Thank you for helping us reach our desired dreams to better serve our community for single parents to thrive. Your donations make a difference in the lives of many.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we need “YOU”, our community to help provide meals for our SMO moms! We ask for grocery store gift-cards (as we do not have refrigeration for turkeys), meal prep items, mashed potatoes, cornbread mix, cranberry sauce and anything else you feel would benefit our members. Join us in helping SMO families have a beautiful and wonderful Thanksgiving!
