It’s Preschool Time!
Saugus Union School District’s Fun For Threes and Fours Preschool Program is an early childhood program that provides a developmentally based pre-academic curriculum that promotes the child’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in preparation for Kindergarten. Preschool Instructors are qualified and educated early childhood education professionals who provide a nurturing and safe environment for children. Each site maintains a low adult to child ratio (1:8 – 1:12) per class.
Children must be four years of age on or before September 1st of the current school year and live within the Saugus Union School District boundary. If space permits, children who reach three years of age by September 1st of the current year may also be enrolled. Space permitting, we also accept children who live outside of the Saugus Union School District boundaries.
Enrollment, at each site, is limited and is determined on a lottery basis. The half-day programs operate 3.5 hours per day (8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.), Monday through Friday, and follow the SUSD School Calendar. The full-day programs operate 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday from August – June, and offer a Summer Fun Program, June-August. There is a $75 registration fee per child for the half-day program if registered by June 30, 2018. There is a $100 annual registration fee per child for the half-day program when registering after June 30, 2018. The registration fee is non-refundable and not applicable to tuition. The annual registration fee for the full-day program is $125. The registration fee is non-refundable and not applicable to tuition.
