Comfort Keepers In-Home Care Partners with Kaiser Permanente
Trusted partners in the continuum of care is essential. With so many moving parts when it comes to our health care system, including non-medical resources, the path to prevention and recovery can be confusing at best. With that said, Comfort Keepers In-Home Care is proud to announce a partnership with Kaiser Permanente. This comes after years of vetting, with the result of Comfort Keepers being selected as Kaiser’s preferred and recommended provider throughout most of their footprint for In-Home Care. Comfort Keepers is an international franchise, locally owned and operated. Our delivery of service and data collection matched what Kaiser was looking for in a partner, and while Home Care is not a covered benefit under Kaiser, they want to provide vetted and quality recommendations to their members. I mentioned prevention earlier in addition to recovery, as being proactive is just as important as being reactive. Meaning, while Home Care can be instrumental in a successful recovery after an illness, injury, or discharge from the hospital, being proactive with Home Care to insure our loved ones are eating nutritiously, taking medications on time, guarding against slip and falls, and getting to doctor appointments consistently, can prevent an event resulting in hospitalization. If you are a Kaiser member and want to learn more about our partnership, please go to www.comfortkeepers.com/kaiser-permanente for more information. If you are not a Kaiser member, you can still be assured of the continued quality of care you’ve come to expect from Comfort Keepers for the last 17+ years by going to www.comfortkeepers.com or www.seniorcaresantaclarita.com.
