Santa Clarita resident Tamer Abdel recently spent the NBA all-star weekend running into celebrities. He shared via Instagram, “Getting the NBA all-star weekend started by meeting a LEGEND! What an honor sir!” Isaiah Jamar Thomas is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association.
Not long after that, Tamer was quick to snap a picture with actor, comedian and all around cool guy Tracy Morgan. Tracy Jamal Morgan is an American actor and comedian best known for his seven seasons as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (1996–2003) and 30 Rock (2006–2013). He was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2009 for his work on 30 Rock. He has appeared in numerous films as an actor and voice actor. Morgan currently plays Tray in “The Last O.G.” on TBS.
Locals Katherine Anderson and Sofia Degl’lnnocenti ran into dancer Maddie Ziegler at Valencia restaurant Sabor Cocina Mexicana. The girls were quick to recognize her and ask for a quick pic. Being so very gracious, Maddie smiled for the two young girls. Madison Nicole Ziegler better known as Maddie Ziegler, is an American dancer, actress and model. She first became known for appearing in Lifetime’s reality show Dance Moms from 2011 (at age eight) until 2016. From 2014 to 2017, she gained wider fame for starring in six music videos by Sia, including “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart”, which cumulatively have attracted more than 3.8 billion views on YouTube. Ziegler has appeared in films, television and concerts, and has modeled on magazine covers and in advertisements for Capezio, Ralph Lauren and Target, among other brands. She was included by Time Magazine on its list of the “30 most influential teens” in each of 2015, 2016 and 2017. Ziegler was a judge on the 2016 season of So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, toured with Sia in North America in 2016 and 2017 and toured in Australia with her sister, and later Sia, in 2017. Her 2017 memoir, The Maddie Diaries, was a New York Times Best Seller. She appeared in the animated film Ballerina (2016) and made her feature film debut in The Book of Henry (2017). Her social media presence includes an Instagram account with more than 11 million followers.
Chris Vranian recently snapped a photo during a little after show hang with Robert DeLeo and Johnny Depp. He shared the photo on social media and posted, “Another great night in the hood!— with Robert DeLeo and Johnny Depp at The Canyon Club.” Stone Temple Pilots played at The Canyon Club with MC5’s Wayne Kramer and Johnny Depp helping out on Kick Out The Jams. Robert Emile DeLeo is an American bass player, songwriter, and backing vocalist for the rock band Stone Temple Pilots. He is part of Delta Deep, and he has also played in Talk Show and Army of Anyone. He is the younger brother of Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean DeLeo. He is also the current bass player for the group Hollywood Vampires. John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963)[1] is an American actor, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for 3 Academy Awards and won the Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor. He rose to prominence on the 1980s television series 21 Jump Street, becoming a teen idol. He has collaborated on nine films with director, producer and friend Tim Burton. Depp is regarded as one of the world’s biggest film stars. Films featuring Depp have grossed over $3.2 billion at the United States box office and over $8 billion worldwide.
