Stroll into Ma Maison
Located in the heart of Old Town Newhall on Main Street, Ma Maison is an eclectic boutique filled with everyday items as well as those one of a kind gifts you search for. Recently celebrating five years on Main Street, Ma Maison has grown with the revival of Old Town Newhall and owner Denise Myers is grateful for the support of the City.
“We, as small business owners, work very hard to grow our businesses as well as market them properly and expand our clientele. With support from the City through events like Thursdays At Newhall, it gives us an opportunity to reach more residents and show them what we have to offer,” said Denise. “And I love meeting new people.”
When you enter the boutique, you are quickly met by the loveliest seasonal décor, carefully and thoughtfully placed along with some of the long time brands such as Mud Pie, Primitives by Kathy, Juniper Tree Handcrafted Soaps, Trixie & Milo, Voluspa, J. Devlin, True Brands, Grasslands Road, K & K Interiors, Englishman in L.A., Mary Lake Thompson, Cedar Mountain Studios, Tag, Lifetime Candles and more! A new addition to the shop is Artist Shima Shanti, who was on hand last month for the boutique’s anniversary event. Shima Shanti inspired by Spirit and Nature works in Encaustic—the ancient art of painting with beeswax. Her methods include photo-encaustic, collage, and assemblage. Juxtaposing bold texture and sublime color; vintage with the contemporary, she blurs cultural boundaries into Oneness. Rough and refined; ethereal yet grounded along with her treasure of the imperfect define Shima’s creative expression. Her work is extraordinary, and a must see in person.
Ma Maison is open every day and offers customers a diverse selection of home and patio décor, candles, gifts and women’s apparel. To have a peek at their current inventory see their social media sites on Facebook and Instagram. 24261 ½ Main Street in Newhall. Stop by Ma Maison and see their treasure trove of gifts and décor.
