Tell Me Something Good – May 2018

 It’s almost summertime, and my favorite season of the year. Suns out, pools warm and the kids are laughing their little energetic bodies right into naps… And one quick bit of good news, if you didn’t see our March Kids Directory, we will be including another one next month in the June issue. It will be filled with plenty of fun, educational and recreational activities to keep the kids busy all summer long. Don’t worry it will be August before you know it.
Proud mom and Sulphur Springs School District teacher Desiree Siggins shared via Instagram her joy over daughter Kassidy’s academic achievements! “Smarty Pants Kass does it again! Congratulations to our beautiful daughter. Last night she was inducted into the Junior Honors Society. She has kept a GPA of 3.5 or higher and happily completed her community service hours. I’m so proud of how motivated and dedicated she is. She works so hard EVERY single day to do her best. Kass always makes us such proud parents
Congratulations to a friend, and fellow native resident Caile Noble who was honored at the Hollywood Beauty Awards this past March. Caile shared online in a post to Instagram: “Honored and grateful for the nomination @hollywoodbeautyawards!” @hollywoodbeautyawards responded with: “We have a slight obsession with Caile Noble’s @sofiacarson updo creations! Every #transformationtuesday we feature the INCREDIBLE architects of beauty. Spotlight on 2018 #HBAs Hairstyling Nominee @cailenoble.” Caile Noble has been styling the gorgeous tresses of stars like Sofia Carson, Sistine Stalone, Sofia Richie and more as a freelance hair stylist. Congratulations to the Cherrie Brown, Zach McReynolds and the entire NextHome RealEstateRockstars team for taking home multiple awards at the NextHome conference in March. This hard-working group proudly went home as the #1 team for Sales Volume, #2 teams for units sold, and are a top NextHome office out of 250 offices in 43 states. We can only expect more great things for this exceptional group of individuals!
This last shout out goes to a gentleman that I have known since I was in elementary school. Santa Clarita native Peter Fernandez was recently recognized along with his co-workers for their Dream Big Princess Global Photography Campaign(Disney). The team took home an award for Best Global Effort at the PRweek Awards. Peter was also recognized for his branding #SheEO hastag promoting females and diversity in CEO positions. I’m pretty proud to say I know this guy as well as call him a friend. Thanks for supporting women in business Peter!
