Million Little Canvases
Million Little is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to healing and empowering vulnerable and at-risk children and families through the power of creativity and mindfulness.
“Million Little Canvases” is our campaign to support Million Little programs for this very important at-risk population.
Each canvas represents a voice and an opportunity.
Million Little wants to create ONE MILLION CANVASES with your help!
All proceeds go toward our programs to support local at-risk youth. Your participation and/or donations help us continue our efforts to effect change in the lives of these children.
Our most recent Million Little Canvases event was this past June at the Valencia Town Center Mall. We had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people with inspiring stories behind their artwork.
We thought we’d highlight some of the stories/artwork as we felt they beautifully reflected the vision for this campaign & our organization as a whole:
Daniella, 13 years of age, canvas description:
“I drew a circle of people representing our community and the people in Million Little connecting and overcoming our differences.
I drew them in a circle because a circle has no end just like the bond of friendships this organization has created.”
We also had a lovely family of three generations sitting together painting. They were such a joy to watch.
The grandmother, Indra, had an amazing time with her son and granddaughter, painting away intently on their canvases.
Indra, 78 years of age, canvas description:
“Beautiful nature created by God. Admired and loved by all!”
One of the many beauties of this campaign is that each painted canvas has a beautifully unique and authentic story – just like the children and communities we serve.
