Closet on Main – September 2018
Closet on Main is an elegant re-sale boutique located in Downtown Newhall. As you take a stroll down Main Street, you will find restaurants, pastry shops, antique shops and you will stumble upon Closet on Main. When customers step in, the store may be mistaken for a retail store, but when you take a closer look, customers find treasure.
The Items sold at Closet on Main are new or gently used items, in pristine condition, all items have been donated by generous members of the community. Proceeds from the boutique support the mission of Single Mothers Outreach (SMO), to empower single-parents and their children to become self-sustaining and thrive.
One of the key programs offered by SMO is “Shop the Closet,” SMO members are able to shop once a month, completely free of charge, for themselves and their families. This is an important program for SMO families because we are able to provide shoes for a child in school or a sweater as colder weather approaches.
As the store is mostly volunteer-run, volunteers are always desired. Consider joining the team of passionate and loving volunteers as they unite in support of single parents in Santa Clarita. For more information, please email admin@smoscv.org.
