Take A Deep Breath… ANCO Design Build
Of course, only if you can breathe clean air. The quality of your air depends on many factors, clean air ducts, and clean air entry points. Your air vents allow outside air to enter your home. Dust, dirt, and smoke particles can enter through your roof, attic, gable vents, and soffit vents. Most homes need regular air quality maintenance. The air that you breathe gets filtered through your insulation and is recirculated through your air ducts.
HVAC systems are considered the lungs of your home. These air handling systems require regular cleaning and sometimes require replacement. If you or anyone in your family suffers from allergies, or asthma, you may want to consider scheduling an inspection of your complete HVAC system. The new generation of Heating and Air Conditioning systems do more than just cool and heat. The new generation of HVAC systems are a major part of your family’s health outlook, and well-being.
If your home is older than five years, or older than two years in brush fire areas, you should have your attic inspected for contaminants. If you have contaminated insulation (usually from smoke, soot, and rodent droppings with urine), it should be removed and replaced. The contaminated areas should be disinfected and sanitized. Vents should also be upgraded with the latest high strength/tight grid vent screens (HPR-Vents). When a wildfire hits your area, these fire safety vents can save your home, and they can reduce the risk of unwelcomed containments from entering your home.
