What Happens During Menopause? Hormonal Effects on Women Migraine Headaches

From puberty until menopause, our hormones predictably fluctuate every month and we sometimes experience those cramps, mood swings, nausea, and all those common side effects of our menstrual cycle. So, what’s the difference with menopause?
Simply put, we’re experiencing a much stronger, dramatic shift of hormones than ever before…that’s what menopause can create symptoms similar to PMS 9Pre-Menstrual Syndrome) but much stronger and more intense.
This is primarily due to a much lower production of the sex hormones estrogen and progesterone. If you’re wondering how hormones can cause such dramatic changes, keep in mind: estrogen plays a role in almost every major part of the body; our heart, skin, hair, bones, breasts and brain are all influenced by estrogen to some degree.

• Vaginal Dryness
• Hot Flashes
• Chills

• Migraine Headache
