A Day of Art At Assistance League Resale
Families collect treasures. They come in various descriptions. They may be books, records, glass figures, or vintage collectibles. Many people have art treasures hanging on their walls, and they can be described as fun art like wall posters or fabulous art such as fine oil paintings and signed lithographs. All of these treasures help people to recall memories of places and people. They might bring back a happy memory of a place or of a joyous time shared with special family members or friends. Maybe a special family event is commemorated with a painting or collectible. In most families, circumstances eventually bring about the time when there is no more room, and it is time to part with a valued treasure.
Assistance League Resale has been the recipient of many such treasures. On Sunday, November 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the store will open to celebrate A Day of Art. Art of many descriptions and from many cultures will be featured. Our customers will find oil paintings and signed lithographs. There is a large selection of antique music sheets in perfect condition, and vintage and antique books, including several Bibles. Both Art Nouveau and Art Deco style posters will be included. Sports fans and automobile enthusiasts will find autographed photographs and memorabilia. Many vintage collectibles are included in the sale, along with decorative porcelain, pottery, historical items, Murano Glass and Lladro figurines. Mark your calendars and experience this opportunity to purchase art from “fun to fabulous.”
Assistance League Resale is located at 24364 Main Street in Downtown Newhall. For information, call 661-255-1991 or visit www.assistanceleaguesantaclarita.org.
