Assistance League Santa Clarita Presents Sunset In The Vineyard
Assistance League Santa Clarita will welcome the community to the 11th Annual Sunset in the Vineyard on Sunday, November 4th, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. This lovely fall event takes place in the local picturesque Compa Vineyard, and the homes of Jeannie, Chris and Tim Carpenter. Over twenty artisan wine and beer makers will be pouring for your tasting delight. We are privileged to have the chefs and their students from the College of the Canyons Institute of Culinary Education partnering with Assistance League on this afternoon. They will be preparing and serving a variety of beautiful and delicious hors d’oeuvres. The students will make pizzas which are baked in an outdoor wood-fired oven, and emerge ready to be enjoyed. The Speakeasy Bakery will offer a large variety of artisan crafted delectable breads, and you won’t want to miss the fabulous cheese tastings provided by the DeRobertis Family Artisans. Delicious ice cream treats will delight our guests, served straight from the Sweet Beams Ice Cream truck. Lovely music will be heard throughout the vineyard. Many wonderful items will be included in the silent auction, including a 10-night stay in beautiful Maui.
When the sun sets in the vineyard, you will have helped Assistance League member/volunteers to increase our many philanthropic programs that benefit families and individuals in our Santa Clarita community. Our signature program, Operation School Bell® is under way, providing new school clothes and shoes to over 2200 students attending all the public schools in the Santa Clarita Valley. Eye exams and eyeglasses are given to children in need through iCare for Kids. These and other programs serve our community to transform and benefit lives.
Tickets are now on sale for $85 in advance and $95 at the door. Please visit our website for more information and to purchase tickets. www.assistanceleaguesantaclarita.org
