The Man Behind The Old Town Junction
Daniel Otto is the Co-owner and Executive Chef of the new, up and coming Old Town Junction located in the heart of Main Street. Originally from Hawaii, Chef Otto has been honing his passion for cuisine taking him all over the country to learn different styles and techniques. Landing in the bay area, he graduated from California Culinary Academy earning him positions in acclaimed facilities such as; the Hilton Hotels, A’sabellas, Shanghai Reds, and the former TPC Valencia. For the past 20 years, Otto, his wife and three children have called Santa Clarita home becoming a renowned name throughout our community, winning him several awards. In addition to becoming a restaurateur, he is a Culinary Instructor for the Culinary Department at College of the Canyons. “My students inspire me every day, building that connection with them and preparing them to be innovators in our community is a great honor and privilege.” With this new venture, Chef Otto and his team, plan to give his customers an unforgettable culinary experience. “We have built our team around creative chefs to come up with new ideas that are food forward for our community to enjoy”. Although quite accomplished Otto exudes a very laid back and welcoming persona. His philosophy is creating a space for everyone to feel like family but in a relaxed yet upscale environment. The Junction team are working hard to synthesize a modern twist on comfort food that is both fresh and delicious.
