Boots & Barrels Inaugural event was a success!

 Soroptimist of Valencia has done it again. Under the leadership of President Stephanie Sewell and her new board, SIV has created another successful fundraising event for women and girls in Santa Clarita Valley.
On November 4, SIV held their first Boots and Barrels, a wine and beer tasting extravaganza in the world famous Spiegeltent at Wolf Creek Brewery. Guests enjoyed wine and beer tasting, country music, line dancing, food trucks, cornhole, raffles and face painting for the kids. Boots and Barrels event co-chairs Falon Renteria and Chrissy Rescigno were very pleased with the overwhelming support from the community, this event far surpassed expectations, and the club would like to make this an annual event.
SIV has been improving the lives of women and girls through social and economic empowerment since 1974 and will continue the tradition with their next event Gentlemen for a Cause on March 3, 2019.
