Santa Clarita Marathon 2018
One weekend in November the Santa Clarita Valley welcomed the Santa Clarita Marathon. This weekend included a full marathon, half marathon, 10K run, 5K run and the Mayor’s Walk. Some racers competed in two or three courses and received a special reward towards the end of the day. As a qualifier for the Boston Marathon, the Santa Clarita Marathon brought out expert runners along with novice runners, first timers, and spectators from all around, came out to test their endurance. The day was full of cheering and support from families, friends and the rest of the community. If you did not get a chance to compete this year there’s always a chance next year.
