Discover Santa Clarita Christian School! Learn about the benefits of a K-12 community
At Santa Clarita Christian School, we provide your child a seamless Christian, private school education from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Once a child is enrolled at SCCS, parents have the peace of mind of knowing their child’s education is set until they graduate, without the stress of multiple school changes. Children often struggle to feel connected and known through these transitions.
SCCS provides healthy social adjustments: Studies show students who make fewer academic transitions perform better academically and socially. “Many SCCS students already know where their classrooms will be; they have seen and known the teacher(s) they will have for years, and they have been friends with or been tutored by students in the upper grade levels,” shared Lynn Kistler, Director of Academics at SCCS. “The fear of the unknown is eliminated.”
SCCS encourages community: Students who have attended SCCS from Kindergarten to twelfth grade, “SCCS Lifers” have shared they love the unified community and being part of a big family. “The community at SCCS is strong and supportive,” said Sasha Ridenour, SCCS 2017 graduate. “Teachers and administrators love and care for each student. I enjoyed knowing each person in my class and having the opportunity to build relationships with younger students and adults.”
SCCS supports family unity: SCCS offers one full-service, K-12 campus that provides for the educational needs of children of all ages. The need for families to divide their time at multiple schools does not exist and therefore allows for more parental and family member involvement.
Registration is open for the 2019-20 school year! Discover our K-12 community on January 28, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. RSVP at 661-252-7371.
