Live Your Dream 2019

 Live Your Dream is Soroptimist International program that benefits local women who are returning to school to further their education. On Wednesday March 6th, Soroptimist International of Valencia awarded 5 grants to women in our community and gave continued support to an award recipient from last year. Among the recipients was a single mother who just earned her AA at College of the Canyons and is continuing in the nursing program. Another recipient is a single mother who started taking classes as an ESL student and is continuing to earn her BA as an example to her children. All the recipients shared their heartfelt gratitude and inspirational stories. Soroptimist International of Valencia is able to support these grants because of the tremendous support of our Boots and Barrels and Gentlemen for a Cause Fundraisers. With the help of community donors, sponsors and volunteers these events continue to support the mission of improving lives of women and girls.
