Phil Althouse is an award-winning fine art photographer based in Santa Clarita. Originally from the San Francisco area, he spent the bulk of his career in Hollywood’s film and television industry. There he became fascinated by the challenge of telling a story and injecting humor and theatrical timing into a single still image. Althouse’s images are known for their uniquely dramatic style, wit and sensitivity to contrast and form. They have been shown in the U.S., Europe and Australia. While this show is uniquely focused on humor, many of Althouse’s pieces can be viewed at his website shawhousephotography@gmail.com
